The Biodiversity Heritage Library improves research methodology by collaboratively making biodiversity literature openly available to the world as part of a global biodiversity community.
BHL also serves as the literature component of the Encyclopedia of Life .

  

Foundations to Actions

Extending Innovations in Digital Libraries in Partnership with NDSR Learners
June 1, 2016 - June 30, 2018.
Funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services: Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Program

"Foundations to Actions: Extending Innovations in Digital Libraries in Partnership with NDSR Learners" will include five geographically-distributed NDSR residents in a collaborative project to improve tools, curation, and content stewardship at BHL.

Field Notes Project

February 1, 2016 - January 31, 2018.
The Field Notes Project is a collaborative project funded by the Council on Library and Information Resources. It will provide open access to field notes from multiple institutions.
